1910 - The Union of South Africa

The South Africa Act of the British Parliament established the Union of South Africa out of the Cape, Natal, Transvaal and Free State. It was essentially a white union and with it came more discriminatory legislation. The South Africa Act banned Black representation in parliament and fully enfranchised the white race, putting them in charge of all other races.
